Drawing from Life

Hello, folks!
Besides Illustration, I am also teaching a few classes. This drawing is from one of them.
I did this one as a demo for the students (kind of, actually, I just wanted to draw), they were complaining they didn't have enough time to draw, that the poses were very short, etc.
It's a 10 min. drawing done from a great model, called Cris. She is a very talented model, she has strong features and very expressive gestures. I wanted to show them that they could do plenty in a short time, they just had to stop talking and start drawing!!! Well, I hope they got the message.

These were done for the same mag, but for a different issue.
The illustrations shown here are about the gorgons, Narcissus, and Penelope and Ulysses.

Successful Nerds

Hello folks, a magazine asked me to do a series of small illustrations about successful... well, nerds (in the lack of a better term). I suppose I could have used geeks... well, nevermind.
Anyways, all 8 illustrations were done following the same style. The chosen eight were Jobs, Gates, Fanning, Orkut, Torvalds, Berners-Lee, Brin and Page.
I chose to post this one because I like Steve Jobs. Actually, I like Apple.

Body Types

Hello folks, how are you all doing?
I know I haven't posted in a while but life's been busy. Busy, busy, busy...
This is a quick spot illustration about body types, done for a mag.
They asked me for three individual illustrations, I just posted them together in order to enhance their contrast.
