Sloth Sketches

Hello everyone!
Just trying to turn a sloth into a lovable character. Good exercise.
I feel I need more time to work on those. They still look kinda similar to the reference.
Maybe I should exaggerate the shapes and work on the silhouettes a bit.
Anyway, I just wanted to post something...

This month's been pretty hectic.
These sketches were done yesterday. Charcoal and charcoal pencil on the first one. Prismacolor pencil on the other one.

Hello folks, how are you all doing?
First of all... HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
I took a few weeks off (vacation time) and went to my in-laws' farm with my wife and son.
Nice place to relax and forget about everything else. No internet connection, no telephone, no cellphones.
I needed a time off.
When I get back home I'll make sure to post some pics. I'll be back in a week.
In the meantime, I found this internet hotspot - we're still on the road - and decided to post something.
Thanks for the support and I apologize for the inconvenience (not updating the blog).
These are some sketches I did while watching DVDs. Good thing they had a DVD player in the farm.
