Playing with Color

Howdy folks!
In this study, I tried to capture the mood of the pose as well as the likeness of the model.
...and I forced myself to do it entirely with Painter.
It turned out good, I think, even after a long hiatus from painting digitally.

Hospital Sketches

My 3-month old daughter spent a week at the hospital, we came back home a couple of days ago. She was diagosed with a virus that attacks the lungs and interferes with the baby's breathing. When she was admitted, she was pale, sleepy and with shortage of breath.
There was nothing I could do other than hope she was gonna be allright. Thankfully, she did.
