Lunch Break
It was early, I was bored, and I was waiting for my class to start.
There was a magazine lying on the table right next to me, my sketchbook was opened and I thought: "Why not?"
There are some artists who question the value of a drawing or sketch from a magazine photograph.
I say "it's better to draw from a photograph than not to draw at all."
Colored pencil on sketchbook. Sketches from photographs.
Thanks for stopping by.

Hi Doug,
These drawings were beautiful (your stroke is so strong and yet so light).
I also think it's better to draw from a photograph than not drawing; if Norman Rockwell drew brilliantly supported by pictures (see for framing, poses and proportions), why can not we?
A kiss,
Leka (Alexa).
